Ancient Roar (SV4K Oct 2023)
The Ancient Roar subset released in Oct 2023 features cards from the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) from the Scarlet & Violet Era. This subset features Paradox Pokémon. A new varient of Ancient Pokémon and Trainer cards are introduced, featuring unique text icons on the top right corner of the artwork, and unique backgrounds adorning the right half of the cards. Ancient cards have a layered strata background & tend to have direct attacks that deal a large amount of damage, while being difficult to Knock Out and assist their respective Pokémon counterparts. All cards are in Japanese.
