Chris Claremont born November 25, 1950 is a British-born American comic book writer and novelist, known for his 17-year stint on Uncanny X-Men from 1975 to 1991, from issue #94 through to issue #279. He then started back on the Uncanny X-Men title in June 2000 with issue #381 to #389 and then #444-474 in ending Sep 2006.
